I have tried connecting a Vista system (Vista Business) to a very simple workgroup we have at our office and guess what? Yep, Vista doesn't see the Linux shares but sure sees all the Window shares...

I have read a few older articles including this one:

http://www.emailbatt..._aadchcgagd_hf/

which pretty much say that it's Microsoft's problem (which I would agree) and not Samba's.

So, since this article was written in mid-2006 does anyone know if this is being addressed with the official release of Vista here and now or if this is still Microsoft trying to get us to shell out big bucks to purchase software and licenses for 2003 Server?
