My internet worked like a charm last week. Everything was fast, but now my internet is like super duper slow and when I click on a link when it does work nothing happens and it just stays the same. i don't have any malware, spyware, virus, etc and the slowness only happens with the internet explorer. I want to fix this because I can't do anything without the web. Also, the internet windows freeze up a lot.

Hi lokipi!

You say you don't have any malware on your machine, but I suspect you do...

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

Clean up what you can first.

You can try these programs if you don't already have them.
