I can't seem to click on any buttons.
In Windows XP Login, when i click on the picture to login, all it does is darken like it usually does when i put the cursor over the picture and i can't actually click it (as in select it) and i have to do ctrl+alt+del. to login.
And in GIMP (Photoeditor run by GTK+) i can click on one thing and then i cant click on any buttons including the toolbars at the top (File, Edit, Tools)
However, my other programs like Firefox and my games and AIM seem to work fine.
I dont have system restore enabled and it happened after my dad unplugged the computer before turning
it off. Please help

Hi Mr Jingles and welcome to Geeks to go,

Your drivers could be messed up. Do you still have the drivers for your mouse? If not try searching on google.com for the most recent drivers.
