When I boot I get a msg " missing command Parameter". a second msg says that the missing file is mslng32.dll. I did a search and found the file in an obscure location: C:\Program Files\intellipoint 4.0\mouse\setup\msh\mouse\eng.

Why can't the startup routine find it?
is the boot sequence only using a canned package?
how can I move the file to a place where it will start the boot correctly?

Thx for any help,

hello,
after doing a quick search on google for the dll. I found another forum that had this same exact topic, it appears to be associated with your intelli point software, so it being in that folder is not wierd, i would reinstall the software that came with your microsoft mouse/trackball or if you dont have it, you can download it here and that should fix your problem

Per the information i gathered, this file should be in the c:\windows\system32 folder, perhaps if you copy the file to that location it may fix the problem
