In outlook 2003 I could open the shortcut view in the Navigation pane and make shortcuts to my folders. I added a new group called Programs and dragged shortcuts from my desk top to it so I could use outlook as my desktop and not have to switch around to open programs and files. I have shown this to many people and they all thought it was great. I have now upgraded to 2007 and the shortcuts now open a warning screen that says this is a potential security risk and talks about hyperlinks being harmful. As these shortcuts are on my desktop and refer only to my computer I do not see how this is a security risk. If I click on the yes button it opens the program or file. Is there anyway to have outlook stop showing these warning and just open the program as it did in 2003? I have researched all through Microsoft and it talks about Group Policy and Active Directory. I have tried using GP settings but they have no effect and we are not on AD. Any Ideas?
