Hi there,

I hate using my touchpad for my Toshiba Laptop (eqiuum), so i decided to buy a wireless mouse with a usb reciever. I bought the technika mouse from tesco's. However the instructions are in a different language as I live in europe!

Anyway, I put the usb reciecer into the usb port and put the batteries into the mouse. The little box came up saying that hardware has been installed and is ready to use.

However, the mouse isn't working! and the touchpad still works. So i went to the mouse settings and disabled the touch pad, but the wireless mouse still doesn't work.

Anyone got any idea's as to how to make it work? Do i have to completly delete the software for the touch pad? I'm not too keen on doing this incase i ever need the touchpad in future.

thanks in advance :whistling:

Need to sync the mouse with the receiver if you haven't done so already. Usually done by pressing Connect on the receiver and then connect on the mouse.
Failing that, change the batteries.
