windows xp activation problem

hey guys i have a big problem forgive me if this kind of topic is already on geekstogo
i am running windows xp pro sp2 build 2600 and i thought i activated it
because when i boot windows it said: you must activate windows within x days you want to register?
then i did ok and windows say: windows is already activated and i just could boot windows
but now the 30 days are over and when i start windows it says: windows must be activated before you can login do you want to register now and then i do yes and windows says again:windows is already activated
and then the [removed] just log me off and i cant logon
is there anything i can do? i hope so because i need my windows partition for gaming and s***

please help me!!!
