Hello

Im running Vista Home Premium, my rating is 4.4 on the vista scale :whistling:

So running transparent windows is not a problem, look really good.

But the task bar remains solid black, how do i change this.

Also when i maximise a window the menu section at the top goes blac, is there a way to change this.

Cheers

What you are talking about is the normal way that windows operates under the Aero (Windows Vista) theme. The taskbar is always black and the title bar on menu's will not be transparent when a window is maximized.

I'm sure the computers you are referring to have WindowBlinds installed and not Windows Vista Aero Theme. There is no way that is known to make the taskbar and title bars transparent. (without the use of a 3rd party program that is, like WindowBlinds)

The taskbar is transparent. Move a window underneath it and you will see that it is indeed transparent.

Of course, the taskbar isn't transparent if you have a currently maximized window on the screen. Every window needs to be minimized for the taskbar to be transparent.

Like I stated before, the taskbar isn't transparent if you have ANY other windows maximized. You have to have all windows minimized for the taskbar to be transparent. See below:

It is possible to make it transparent when Windows are maxamised but whether or not I would be allowed to post the link here or not is the question, If this is wrong then please just remove the link.

OH!!! I did some researching, its because i use iTunes in the task bar, as this reverts the taskbar back to normal.

All ok now :whistling: cheers
