The Processor you picked out will NOT fit in the motherboard you selected. The Merom chips are for MOBILE which is laptops.. The Merom is Socket M the motherboard you chose is lga 775 which is socket T.

Looks fine but pick out the proper Processor.

No, the 7600 is a great midrange card, especially at $100. Why would someone who's not a hardcore gamer buy a $400 or $500 card?

Also, yes, the e6600 will work just fine. Personally, I'd buy a higher end power supply, but that's just me, I'm paranoid about that kind of thing.

That processor is nice, I run a 7600gt to dual montiors, not a gamer but I watch movies and it works flawlessly. I agree about the power supply, stable power is something that can affect your whole system, and thats just one thing you dont want to skimp on even though you never 'see' its performance. Is the sound card necesary? that mobo has sound.?

As for the sound card, if your not a serious gamer, I'd just get the xtremeaudio version. I don't know where you live but in canada the xtremegamer is 40$ more.
Just a suggestion.

I paid £50 for my 7600GT from ebay. AFAIK it doesn't even say a major brand name. I run two monitors on it, and it runs all newest games @ low / medium detail! I'm waiting for the R600s to come out, when ill debate on crossfiring them...

If you will be sticking with that 7600gs video card the xclio 450W would be sufficient.

Xclio isnt a bad brand as they are even on the Nvidia site as a recommended psu along with Tagan, pc power and cooling, Thermaltake, Hiper, Corsair, Ocz and Antec.

If you want a better power supply for the best price to performance ratio then Look into the Hiper 580W powersupply. It will give you future leway in upgradability aswell..

The Xclio 500W psu is another good choice and its only $51.99 at newegg right now.

Id recommend this one if you feel like later on you will be upgrading at all like a Faster video card etc.. Like I said its for future upgradability and your pc will only use how much Watts/power it needs from the power supply. It wont use the full ammount of the powersupply at any given time so dont think the power supply is too much.
