unless the file was saved with the layers...no...with a JPG it's not gonna happen...they basically just painted over that area with a "blur" then merged the layers when they saved it as a JPG...after the layers are merged...you can't un merge them

It really makes me laugh when you see on the TV that people can zoom infor a closeup from a satellite in outerspace and then change to resolution to picture quality on an area the size of a pin head. They must be using the hubble for the spywork.
I just wonder when i'm going to get picture quality resolution from a digital camera.

When you buy the right camera. My 10mp Canon Digital Rebel takes amazing photos in Raw format.

There was an interesting post on digg not too long ago about this exact thing. It showed how when you get down to the pixel level, the letters and numbers can be deciphered from the pattern they create, especially if you know the font used.

AnthonyJ I did most the maths behind that last year. If you do the higher math courses at school you should do it this year.

Oh and yes my english grade matches my writing lol

stick with the schooling, you can always revert bact to being a mechanic, but its tough going from a job as a mechanic to back to school (higher education)
nothing wrong with working as a auto technician, but there are many days when I wish I stuck with school long enough to get my degree
And trust me, you get a lot of "friends" asking you to fix there auto's also

AnthonyJ,
As a math student (with GREAT grades) you should be able to analyze the problem from a mathematical standpoint. Hint: most 'censored .jpg's have only had their original pixels re-organized...
Good luck!
