Hi,

I can't afford Quark. I'm using the evaluation version at the moment. Is there a good opensource/freeware alternative?

There used to be one called "Ragtime Solo", which is freeware. It sucks compared to Quark (which is a big boy toy), but it gets the job done. Plus its been discontinued freeware wise for the last year or so.

Unfortunately download links are few and far between so you'll have to Google for it.
