Hello I was wondering if anybody can help me?? when accessing the internet through Dial up.. after trying to get on some pages I keep getting an error message which says

buffer overrun

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state the program cannot safely continue execution and much now be terminated

Microsoft visual C++ runtime library

I have looked at some of the forums on here and the majority of the answers look very confusing to me.. so if anybody has a solution to this in some nice plain english it would be great.

Oh yeah I tried looking for anything that cannot be uninstalled and looking for any running programs around the time that it happens and have not found anything unusual

any help you could give would be much appriciated :blink:
