Anytime I go into my computer, The process crashes, I might be trying to access a hard disk or play a dvd but it won't work.
Nothing happens for a while then the end process box comes up.
After this has happened the whole of my pc slows down.

My pc is free from viruses and malware, so what could be the problem?

I do get a meassage come up everytime I start my pc (see attached jpg)

Is the message every time the same?Locate the file in Program files and Windows/System32. If they are both there rename the one in Program Files to psappi.old reboot and see if the problem persists.
