I have NERO 7 Ultra. when I transcode to burn a dvd it says "excellent" quality meaning pleanty of DVD space. But before it burns it says "not enough space on the DVD-etc. I have to use DVD9 and it works.

I have used their clean tools and uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times with no luck, and that's their only advice at support. I can transcode and save the file to burn in another pgm and it's ok.

Any ideas and insights will be much appreciated.

original and early versions of nero 7 premium (there never was an 'ultra' edition in version 7) had more than a few problems. latest version is v7.7.5.1 and updates are free from here:

It's been brought to my attention that, contrary to my statement above, there is indeed a "Nero 7 Ultra edition". Apologies to the OP and thanks to Keith for pointing out my error -- and just when I thought I knew it all!

Thanks for trying! Much appreciated. I don't think even NERO Tech can figure this one out :whistling:
