[font=Times New Roman][size=6] I purchased a Western Digital 30 gb Ultra ATA Hard drive to put in computer I have as a spare, but whenever I try to load WindowsXP on it, it ends up going to the IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen of death. Tried using the software that came with the new hard drive--no matter what I've done so far, XP won't load. :whistling:

That error is one which has many different causes. However, what worked for me is to go into the BIOS settings and look for the entry which says "Plug and Play OS", set it to "No". Save the changes and reboot.
