I do not know very much about computers and I would like to hear and see CD and DVD and copy them and that is all.
I have Easy Media Creator installed and the CinePlayer only works a couple of times after installation and sometimes the program do not see my drive.
I read about AShampoo been easy and problem free.
In the AShampoo website there is a menu of programs and I do not know which one will do only what I want: listen to music, see DVD and CD videos and copy them.
I will appreciate if someone points to the right program.
Thank you for the attention to this matter.

The application which seems to offer the nearest equivalent to your roxio product would be the "Ashampoo Multimedia Centre" at $50. However, be aware that it won't allow you to copy commercial DVD-video. It's illegal for you to do it and for the vendor to facilitate it. Copying of home-made video is quite alright.

However, I would question your choice of vendor. The universally accepted equivalent of your roxio product is "nero 7 Premium" at $60 for the downloaded version. I've been using nero for the last three versions and I'm very happy with it. It's also much less demanding on system resources than roxio easy media creator. You can download a trial before you decide.
