I just downloade this free remote access program called Winremote pc. Since I'm new to using software like this one, my questions might sound a bit "not so computer savvy", but here I go. I have no problem connecting to other pc's in my own lan, but when it gets to computers on the wan, then I'm having trouble. I've been trying to connect to my friends pc after installing the software on his computer, but no luck. I've got his wan ip and his local ip address, but how do I connect? Do I need to change some setting or open a port in his router to be able to connect? or could it be that I just haven't typed in the info correctly in the program?
