when trying to remove a program...it says 'unable to open' ....what do you then?

reinstall the program, then try to remove it again.

Many times, uninstall programs/scripts become corrupted or deleted. Reinstalling it will solve this problem

many thanks for your response...
but it's not something I installed in the first place. I don't know if u'd call it a virus or spyware....but it's a website that's been added to my 'Currently installed programs' list which, when I try to remove it, says 'unable to open'. Very annoying!!
