alright i have a Net Gear router. (it's white if that helps) When we first got it, it worked well and everything was fine. lately though, it hasnt worked properly. About every 4 hours or so we have to go over to it, unplug it and then plug it back in as it randomly shuts our internet off. it is not our internet connection because the internet works fine being plugged directly into the computer, but we have two computers that both require internet access and this is being a problem. we've pressed the reset button and that doesnt do anything. only if we unplug it and even then it still messes up. Is there something wrong with the wiring or could it just be faulty? help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Hello kelso.

I know the netgear router is white. Netgear routers have a frequency of dropping out internet connections. believe me I had one too and we used to get disconnects around the same time as you.

What kind of router is it? You can find the name and version under the router(bottom).
