Converting fat32 to NTFS

When i tried to upgrade to vista home premium, is said that i must change the filesystem to a ntfs.

So what are my options?

I don't want to format my hard drive cause i have alot of information stored

Can someone please help me?

Hi Karen50...

You can convert a partition to NTFS without losing your data.

Click Start, then Run, type cmd and click "Ok". In the command session window, type convert c: /fs:ntfs and press "Enter". You will likely be told the drive is busy and asked if you want this to happen on the next boot...answer Yes (Y) and press "Enter".

Reboot.

thank you so much wannabe1 but when i did that it said it is an unrecognized internal or external command or a incorrect batch file....(somewhere along those lines)
