Hi anyone know of a free program that will show how much battery life i have on my laptop?

as in what percentage of battery is left?...your OS should do that for you....genereally there's a little battery icon in the task bar by the clock...but if it's not you can check the "power meter" section of the "power options" dialog in control panel (on the advanced tab of the same dialog you can set the battery icon to always show in the taskbar as well)
