Fast PC, video clipping badly

OCZ 2GB 2.5 latency
Evga Nvidia 7900 GT 256m (my card that I put in his machine to try to help video)
Windows XP Pro SP2 fully updated

My son and I started playing Silk Road recently. On my PC, ASUS A8n, AMD 3700, OCZ 2GB 2.5, Nvidia 660 GT, it is liquid smooth no matter what. On his, terrible video clipping. I have tried turning off everthing not neede, but no help. DL the newest Nvidia drivers, no help. I run Spyware Blaster and Adaware. No trojans that I can find.
