5 mb of webhostings means that the ISP is going to give you 5mb of webspace for you to use. For example, you could make your own website or upload your own pictures so that people on the web can access them.

thats a 5 cent definition hope you can understand it.

More important than storage is bandwidth. They will let you store 5 MB of information (which is not a lot) but how many MB or GB will they allow people to download from your website before they turn the tap off?

So you ask what is Web-Hosting? Well Web-Hosting is this: a provider that "holds" information, values, and other information. It's all on the internet, obviously, hence the prefix web, in the word Web-Hosting. Most Web-Hosting cost money. If you do get a web-host, have a subscription, that has cPanel with at least a gigabyte of space, and you want more gigabytes of bandwidth then anything, way more then your space limit. If you have any more questions just ask.

You folks really might want to pay attention to the date posted. Why you are looking up topics that are over 2 years old is beyond me.

Since this is no longer relevant, I will close this thread and let it be in peace where it should have stayed.
