I have a small home network via a linksys router and a laptop issued by my company that is connected to the company VPN. I want to be able to share files from my laptop to my home desktop, but if ever I try to set up a work group connection, it is unsuccessful because of the VPN. Is there any way to get it to do what I want, perhaps by setting up a new user account on the laptop that does not use the VPN?
