Having a problem with an EMachines Desktop PC.

OS = Windows XP

Whenever the computer boots up it just has a black screen on the monitor. Tried 3 different monitors with all the exact same result. The monitors were tested on another pc so they do work. The original monitor was a LCD screen.

Even tried to replace the video card. Same result.

The video cards work, the monitors work but whenever the pc boots up the screen (monitor) is just black.

Any suggestions?

E-Machines are known for the poorest MB's. That would be my guess also. Once i replaced every part in the computer except the MB with on-hand spares and could'nt get a Em to boot. Since i wont buy a e-machines MB i replaced it with a Intel. I do like some e-machines cases and have built 3 good computers from them.
