I use shift/delete a lot to get rid of spam from my outlook express. Is there any way I can create a shortcut "shift/delete icon" on my toolbar which would then allow me to highlight the spam with my mouse then click this "shift/delete icon". Would be very handy for my disabilityof one hand. Your help appreciated.

there's not really a method to do that the way you ask...but there are mice and keyboards available that allow you to assign certain key strokes to specific buttons..

i've got a logitec mediaplay cordless mouse and it's got about 6 out of the 8 buttons on it that are configurable to do with what i please (i've got the click wheel set to refresh the page and another button that's set to close apps etc...) this might be something to look into...then you could automate a few tasks...or at least simplify them

Thanks Dsenette, for the ideas, the mouse buttons sounds great so I will research into that. Meantime I guess lifting my hand off the mouse to push a couple of keys on the keyboard is not such a hardship but I am always looking for faster and easier ways. cheers
