Hello, i'm new here so i'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in but, me and my father recently tried installing my new video card to my PC, but unfortunately after installing it, and turning on my computer, that all my icons and text on my desktop were enlarged. So, i right clicked properties on desktop and out of no where my screen went black, with just a cursor ticking. The video card is NVIDIA GeForce FX5200, and it fits my monitor and video card slot, so i have no idea what the issue is. Can you please help me: ) thanks

Have you installed drivers for the card yet? It's likely that windows didn't have the correct drivers to load and when you tried to change the default VGA settings it wasn't able to load the drivers so the video no longer works. You may be able to go in in safe mode to run the driver installation then reboot to see if that worked. Or to change back to th default settings before installing the drivers in normal mode.
