I looked in my recycle bin today and I have about 30 so icons with the name BAK.
The files that they refer to in my computer all seem to be OK.
Is it OK to "delete" them. Or, what do I do with them?
Is this normal...I don't ever recall seeing this type of file before in my recycle bin.

by the way, I am operating on a windows XP Home.

Thanks,
Tim

It sounds like the backup files of your email folders after compaction. One of the previous updates does this so if there is a corruption problem with the compaction you can repair your folders. I copy and pasted mine into a folder I named Email Backup in My Documents.
