hey i have a problem that i would like to get some help with.
my notebook seems to make a funny winning noise when ever the fan starts to run.
i installed a new heat sink fan however i have the same noise
i noticed though when ever i do a bios update the fans runs as normal.
it also runs normal when ever i start up or shut down.
i am very nervios that i may loose another computer to heat.
i welcome all advice that i can get, thanks

Is it you CPU fan that is making the noise? I know dust can cause a fan to become unbalanced and be noisy. The bearings on the fan could aslo be wearing out. Check out this post Here. I had simular problem and a tech explained it very well.
