Hi, hornet_hockey!
There are two ways to install files on a Pocket PC.
1. Through ActiveSynce and the Docking Cradle. When you find a program that you want to install (either downloaded or from a CD), you double click the executable, it installs the necessary part on your desktop/laptop, then installs on the PPC via ActiveSync. If you don't have ActiveSync, you can download version 4.5 beta here.
2. Directly on the Pocket PC. Something software developers will distribut their install in a CAB or MSI file and specify that it is it be installed on the PPC directly. This is generally done by online developers - you'll see it a lot with freeware stuff. In this case, move the file to your PPC via ActiveSync, Explore, or download it directly onto your PPC. Then use File Explorer on the PPC to browse to the location, and simply tap the file to start the installation.
If this doesn't make sense or you have other questions or issues, please post back.

Thanks. Next question: Do you know of any programs that stream live radio?

It works!!! thank you
Next question: two questions actually, 1)Is it possible to listen to something like ESPN radio, or something that I know the stream URL to in the player? and 2)Is it possible to listen without an internet connection?

I'm glad you got it working
To answer your newest questions:
1. I don't know. You'll just have to try it. I think the GSPlayer just handles Shoutcast, and that's all I've ever tried to do with my PDA. You should have Windows Media Player and it may be able to do something for you.
2. No. If you don't have the internet, you can stream the internet radio.

No I don't believe so. You'd have to have kind of radio receiver.
