I'm not sure, but it depends which macbook it is to begin with. If it's the newest then its DDRII, which can run in some of the newest laptops.

Ok, so it is DDR2 ram, and is a 200 pin stick, on the basis that the laptop can take that then it will work, yes. Do you have any idea of that laptop you are going to attempt to put the ram into is. Like model numbers / manufacturers, I can look into it and see if it will take it.
