My cousin has BT internet broadband on his computer which works fine, however he created a new windows user so that he could use two ipods on one computer using different libraries. The problem is I can't get the internet to work on the new user account. Network connections show that there is a connection but internet explorer doesn't connect to it...any ideas? thanks

(He has the bt modem box linkin to usb if that helps)

Check to make sure Auto Detect Settings is checked in Internet Explorer.

To do this: Open IE. In the menu bar at the top, click on Tools and then Internet Options...

Click on the Connections tab and then click on the LAN Settings... button at the bottom. Check Auto Detect Settings at the top if it isn't checked already. Click OK all the way out. Restart Internet Explorer.
