hey there,

i run a broadband modem from wall socket and then have created a network on my computer and plugged ethernet cable into the back of my pc to connect to live.

it runs fine great even just one problem:

my phone line is crackly and buzzes and makes noises when my pc is on and i now get disconnected off the internet when the phone rings, i never had this problem before i set up the network.

if anyone has experianced the same problem and/or knows how to fix it please could you let me know

Make sure you are using line-filters on all the phone points.
Use only best quality phone, adsl and ethernet cables.

I have all filters fitted on phones i had that problem prior to the xbox 360 being bought. and as for quality cables i used the standard one that came with xbox
