I havea CD-R that has DBX files on which I am unable to open. I have windows XP and have tried opening in Word and notepad without any success. Can anyone suggest an easy way to open these as I am a novice.
Thanks

Hi, rogersm.

Do you know what kind of files they are supposed to be?

If they are indeed Outlook Express files, look at this link that gives a lot of information on restoring DBX files.

Please post the results.
