Sound not working..

hey.. for the past week now iv been getting this error message when i open up a video file.. or a sound file.. before it used to work.. but now the sound just stops working all a sudden.. this is what it reads.. ook well i just checked the error isnt comming anymore.. but the sound still remains silent.. ill update anyone with what it reads once i get the message again.. any ideas?

HAhAhhAHAH i just forgot how dum microsoft is and their windows.. all i had to do was reboot :l .... How sad was that... Wow anyone else feel this dum after figuring out it was all stupied ms.. hahahhaha
