Hi

My PC is making a sort of alarm sound - "nee naw nee naw nee naw"
I know its coming from the internal speakers and usually comes when the pc is using a lot of resources i think.

E.g. i was ripping cd's on it and while its doing this it makes the sound. Also when i play a certain game - americas army, it makes this sound too.

please help this sound is REALLY annoying!! :whistling:

thanks

This is probably an alarm for the processor becoming too hot. If you turn your PC off and just have a peek in there, how dusty is it?

If you download speed fan that will give you a clue on tempreatures,

you can fix the alarm noise by:

getting a new fan with higher RPM's

open it up as stated before, be very gentle and give it a little clean with a hover, or blow out the dust with presurised air

hope this helped
