I have a problem - been trying to solve it for over 14 hours - I'm at a loss. IBM X20 laptop with Ultrabay X2. It came with the DVD Ultrabay 2000 player. I know this worked once upon a time - but I've since replaced the hard drive. I've checked the DMA settings, installed the DVD Express software but ran into a problem with installing "DVDPLAYR\SETUP.EXE" It is not on the DVD Express CD or my system just can't find it. The warranty expired 4 months ago. IBM site says conflict with PC Doctor. Removed that - but got lost on their next step with says "2. create the user accounts in which DVD playback is desired. (skip this step if accounts are already created). 3. Log into the user acounts and verify that DVD playback works correctly". What?? How do I do this - steps 2 and 3.
Any help you can give me will be appreciated.
