monitor won't wake up !

i have this IBM aptiva but can't get in it because the monitor seems to be sleeping i tried the grafics card but nothing ... any ideas?

has it worked before? try different ram. also does the screen stay off as soon as you boot?

first time i use it. i tried to boot but no signal at all. monitor stays like sleep mode.

you may have bad ram, or incorrect size ram (speed or mb). do you know what model your board is? or what series the tower is? how much ram is installed, and what speed?
