Unable to read web mail

In either Explorer or Firefox, I can access my gmail account, but only in HTML mode and not in Standard Mode which is the much more useful mode.
Also, I can see my Inbox in Yahoo mail, but cannot see the content of an e-mail when I open one. (Interestingly, I tried "select all" and pasting to Wordpad, and I can see/read every word of the previously blank Yahoo e-mail in Wordpad.)

This problem started sometime after I installed Tenebril's Ghostfusf Platinum 2007, but not immediately after. I also run ZoneAlarm Security Suite, in case either have anything to do with it. All cookies are enabled.

I'm running XP with 1GB of RAM on an Intel Core Duo.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I am having this problem also - you ever find a solution??

I'm running XP and IE7, but I don't have either of the programs that you listed having recently installed. I'm clueless.
