I got this message all of a sudden "(concerning my 2 dvd writers)
Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)
Any ideas......thanks

Problems with one may be causing both to not be recognized if they are one the same IDE cable. Disconnect them one at a time and see if one of them is recognized.
