You might try dragging it but I'm not sure if that will work. Also you can right click the AVG icon on the task bar and close it.
Another method you might try is disabling the alert all together in the control center.

Yes, grab the bar on top of the window and just pull it back
Or right click the button on the task bar, choose MOVE, then use your cursor (arrow) keys to move it
