I use a realtek ac97 soundcard. Whenever I speak to someone on skype, I hear an echo of myself. Is there a way please how to remove this echo?

Thanks a lot!

On telephones in long distance calls you normally hear echos because it takes a couple of seconds for the person to hear you speak and the echo is them recieveing your message, so i dont know if skype is the same sort of thing.
