Hello! :whistling: This is my first official post, and I am so glad I found this site! Anyways, I'm sure there have been many reports about Half-Life2 glitches in the past, and most are dismissed as incompatibility issues with video drivers or an overheating VRAM chip but I got to thinking, is it possible that there just could be a glitch within the game itself? Not all programming is perfect, after all we ARE human. The reason for this theory is because of a certain section within the Half-life2 stage, "Our Benefactors" right after the first transmission with Dr. Breen, travel down the walkway and blast the next series of combine soldiers immediately after, at the next corner if I look up at the wall a strange graphical glitch I've seen in other FPS games like the PS2 version of Return to Castle Wolfenstein:Operation ResurrectionReturn to Castle Wolfenstein:Operation Resurrectionwhere the image sort of smears and mirrors. Sort of a duplicating effect replaced by the usual textures of that area. Anyway, I don't know how this glitch could be caused by an outdated driver or overheating VRAM as it is only in this one spot. I think it's like I said, I just got a bogus copy of HL2. I'm still tying to figure out how the screenshot feature works in HL2. As soon as I do, I'll forward along a shot of that particular glitch. BTW: the latest drivers aren't always the best, take it from someone who knows.
