Counter Strike Requirements: Minimum: 1.2 GHz Processor, 256MB RAM, DirectX 7 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP/ME/98, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
Recommended: 2.4 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX 9 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Pentium III are very outdated and will not be sufficent for any kind of gameplay. Pentium 4s sell for as low as $50 now but basically you will need a whole new set up.

I don't care how cheap P4's are, don't buy them. If your planning on building a new budget system build with AMD. By the way they are cutting prices in the first half of arpil to remain competitive with Intel.
But like Titan already stated, you need a complete system overhul to play newer games.
