Ok so I have windows Xp pro on my laptop and it will startup after about 15 minutes but will not open anything as it freezes and will not let me ctrl alt delete or anything...

What should I do??

Even if I wait for 5 hrs... it still won't function... did that last night. haha.

I do not have the disc as it is a school loaned laptop and I am away from home for the next two weeks and don't have administration rights either?

should I just take it in to some repair service?

let me know what can be done.
