Wel at my school, my teachers just connect the back of their PC to their TV using the RCA Ports on the TV. I was wondering how I could connect my PC to my TV at home. I have a ATI Radeon X1950PRO 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card.

On my TV its just a older Toshiba TV with a built in DVD player. On the front there are the 3 basic RCA ports (yellow, white, red) and a head phone jack. On the back I have a Digital Audio Out Plug ( currnetly free) and a UHF/VHF plug( where my cable goes). any help would be appreciated. any questions just ask

thanks

This is what plugs into the VIVO port on the PC. Then the cable in the first is plugged into the yellow port here.

I can't suggest where to find one in you'r area.
Just make sure that it works well before u buy it. The one in the picture has an audio jack. do you need it? If so then the one in the link doesn't have one.
good luck

Well I didnt like mean in my area. I mean online so they could ship it to me.
As for the audio, its no big deal. I have a nice set os PC speakers and a Bass booster which is nicer than my tv's audio system. So no worries.

Okay make sure that its a 7 pin port on your video card.. If its a 7 pin port its actually called an S-Video port not VIVO. It can get really confusing and I would need a picture of your exact video cards port dead on.

Look at an 7pin svideo that splits to the rca male wires.

http://www.svideo.com/7pinto3rca.html That should be it but make sure your video card does infact have this same S-video connection that will plug into the video card.

Here is another one..

http://www.svideo.com/prosvideo6.html
This one is alittle bit cheaper and says this:

These adapters are compatible with both s-video 4-pin and 7-pin receptacles and are bi-directional.

okay I found out what you have this stuff is really confusing. It is an S video cable but there is a few types of S-Video cables.

What you need is a 7 pin PRO S-Video Cable to rca..

http://www.svideo.com/7svto3rca.html

That is the only one that looks like the correct input for your video card.

It has the 4 pins on the top row and 3 on the bottom that one has to be it for sure.

As long as its a 7 pin PRO S-Video it will work with your video card.
