i just installed a new heat sink fan. now i cannot get it to boot
it will show the compaq logo
will go into dios.
please help. thanks

It may have sensors on the mainboard which detect whether a fan is plugged in theCPU fan socket and refuse to boot if one isn't.

how can i get a recover disk or a reboot dick if i lost the one that came with the computer?
