taking vid from monitor?

I wanna know if there's any software that are able to... like taking vid from my com (the monitor) and make it like vids? OK, like this if you don't understand: I try to make an manual instruction with my monitor and so that my viewer will understand, I use my computer to do it (like moving my mouse to there, here and blał. Or maybe something like how Web 2.0 was created

OR watch this vid so you can understand what were I mumbling just now

You want something like Lotus Screencam. AFAIK there is no freeware alternative short of pointing a camcorder at your monitor :whistling:

Fraps is also good, but its not free.


I'm afraid Fraps not what I'm finding. I'm making some how to's, not taking vids from games. But, thx though for helping.
