Ok, have done everything up to the shredder and when finding America Online 8.0 a trillion files open up...how do I know which one to open to shred the holy livin' s**t out of it? There are file folders and a lot of .dlls, etc. There are also other AOL-type files there, too (i.e. AOL Companion, AIM Toolbar) separate.

If it was me, and I'm glad it isn't, I would go for the AOL definites, Companion, Toolbar, then in theory, registry clean up should say all the .dll bits apply to programmes no longer installed
