Win98 SE - display problem

Its as though my display has become 125% from 100%, as a result I have to scroll endlessly left and right, up and down to see all that would normally appear on screen. Applies to program pages and web pages. I have been unable to describe it terms that are helpful to Mr Google.
We did have two infants beating up the keyboard and this occured after that.
Thank you for any help.

Right click on an empty part of your descktop and choose Properties, then the Settings tab. Then you will be able to set your screen resolution. If for some reason that doesn't do it let us know.
